Manual well drilling in Central African Republic
Within the Central African Republic (CAR) there is a high need for improving access to potable water throughout the country. Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is working on improving the access to potable water in and around Bangassou town. MSF intends to drill 50 water points by means of manual drilling in phase 1 of the project. From earlier feasibility mapping, the geophysical conditions of the direct surrounding area of Bangassou appear suitable to moderately suitable for manual drilling.
