FRWASH Alliance program Uganda
The Uganda WASH program is geographically divided into two distinct areas; the area around Kitgum and Gulu in the North and Rwenzori area in the South‐West of Uganda. With the Northern part recovering from the civil war, the water and sanitation activities are mainly donor‐driven, whereas in the Rwenzori area there is good potential to shift to an approach more oriented at self-supply. In the two geographical areas, two different programs are rolled out, working with different Ugandan partners. PRACTICA is mainly active in the Rwenzori region, focusing on the introduction of low-cost water technologies and local business development.

Programme Alliance WASH Ouganda
Le programme WASH de l’Ouganda est géographiquement divisé en deux zones distinctes : la zone autour de Kitgum et Gulu dans le nord et la région de Rwenzori dans le sud-ouest de l’Ouganda. La partie nord se remettant de la guerre civile, les activités d’approvisionnement en eau et d’assainissement sont principalement dirigées par les donateurs, tandis que dans la région de Rwenzori, il y a un bon potentiel pour passer à une approche plus orientée vers l’auto-approvisionnement. Dans les deux zones géographiques, deux programmes différents sont déployés, en collaboration avec différents partenaires ougandais. PRACTICA est principalement active dans la région de Rwenzori, en mettant l’accent sur l’introduction de technologies de l’eau à faible coût et le développement des entreprises locales.
